For better balance and grip on any type of surface, the legs are ideally W-type tubes.

Finally, the trampoline parts are completed by the trampoline mat, the spring padding, and the cover. The mat, which is made from a very strong piece of fabric, is stitched with V-rings where the coiled springs would connect. The spring padding and the cover protect the user from getting in contact with the metal parts of the trampoline especially the coiled springs.

Assembly of the trampoline parts

In the first step of the trampoline parts assembly, the four W-type tubes must be connected to the eight upright tubes. For every W-type tube, two upright tubes are connected to its leg.

Next, the frame tubes trampoline parts are joined together using the T-type tubes. Spring holes of these tubes must be ensured to face upwards since coiled springs are going to be attached on this orientation. Typically, each frame tube has square ends with one side smaller than the other. The T-type tubes correspondingly have wide and narrow openings where the ends of the frame tube can fit snuggly. This step is repeated until all the slightly curved frame tubes are connected to form a complete circle following a uniform orientation.

The third step is where the upright tubes are connected to the bottom of the T-tubes. Once completed, the steel frame can support itself above the ground and would look much like a table.

The fourth step involves the attachment of the trampoline mat to the coiled springs. The triangle rings on this trampoline mat are hooked into the spring, and the other side of the spring is then hooked into the holes of the main steel frame. Since the attachment will become tighter as more springs are attached and consequently will require a greater amount of tension, strategic placements must be followed in order. Ideally, four springs with 90-degree spacing are first installed. Then, another set of four springs installed in between the evenly spaced springs are attached. To assist in the installation, a spring tensioning tool can give a mechanical advantage as more strings with greater tension are attached. Hand gloves are also advised to be used since spring coils can easily pinch the skin.

After all the coiled springs are attached, the next step is the installation of the spring padding. This padding is divided into two semicircles to cover the springs that surround the trampoline mat. To install the paddings, the two semicircles are laid over the springs until the extra covering extends over the frame’s edges. The two paddings have special attachment mechanisms that are then used to fasten them together.

The spring padding has extra white loops and black straps to keep it in place. Its white loops must be attached to the triangle rings located on the edge of the trampoline mat. The black straps are then attached to the top railings of the frame.

With all the trampoline parts already installed, the trampoline equipment is finally ready for use. After every use, the equipment must be covered with the extra sheet so as to protect the trampoline parts. Prior to using the trampoline, it must be ensured that the ground supporting the equipment is well leveled. Uneven surface can easily distort the spring and potentially damage the frame because of the great deal of tension against the mat.

Safety net
